Accessibility

The APC Centre acknowledges its legal responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and 2005 in respect to the provision of its information services. Following the release of the Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 78 - Guide to good practice in commissioning accessible web sites, the APC Centre is working towards compliance with the guidelines on web accessibility best practice.

The APC Centre’s accessibility policy includes serving all of its customers equally together with a commitment to investigate the existing web sites conformance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines and specifications.

Following our investigations the web sites conformance standard will be demonstrated by adopting the recognised accessibility logos developed by W3C.

The future development of the web site will proactively involve consultation with disabled users to identify the range of possible user needs. Procedures to measure the level of accessibility will be invoked as an integral element of the web sites maintenance.

The APC Centre acknowledges that elements of the web site may not be accessible to all users. Consequently, the APC Centre will provide alternative routes to the information.

Details on how to contact the APC Centre for further information off-line is provided here.

The APC Centre is committed to a process of ongoing improvement. If you have any difficulty in accessing the site, or have any comments or feedback on how accessibility can be improved, please contact us at access@delever.com
